Southampton County Criminal Court Roles
The local docket split reflects the charge and the stage. General District criminal matters are scheduled on Tuesday afternoons. Traffic and town or local ordinance cases use Tuesday mornings, with another traffic setting on Friday mornings. Circuit Court terms begin in January, March, May, July, September, and November, and the grand jury meets on the first day of a term.
